Phase 1 – Report Scheduler

During phase 1, reporting will be enhanced in OpenNMS to support generic reporting capabilities from multiple data sources.

Milestone 1: Enhanced Report Scheduler

Develop an availability report scheduler for which an enhancement will be to automatically detect report definitions. These definitions will be used to define a report (add any required variables such as time range) and manage its reporting schedule.

Milestone 2: Support Report Definitions

OpenNMS will implement a report templating (definition) feature (such as in Jasper Reports) that integrates external data sources with OpenNMS business objects (object model).
