Before you post to the list
Before you post to the list read the Mailing List FAQ. In particular, if asking a question, be sure you have researched your question before you post (state what you have searched for, where you searched for it, and whether or not you found anything) and be sure you are including enough information to help out those people that might be able to answer your question.
Subscribe/Unsubscribe/Preferences
- announce - Announcements about new releases and other important info. Very low traffic
- cvs - A list to receive notifications of commits to the Git source-code repository
- discuss - General discussion list. Your first port of call for non-paid support. A good community, with moderate level of traffic
- install - Discussion list for installation specific issues.
- devel - Discussion list for those involved in, or wanting to be involved in, development of OpenNMS.
- documentation - Discussion list for those involved in, or wanting to be involved in, the documentation efforts for OpenNMS.
- italia - La mailing list di OpenNMS Italia.

Note: The posting addresses listed in Gmane for some of these lists are incorrect, having obsolete addresses of the form {listname}@lists.opennms.org. All of our public lists are now hosted by SourceForge and have posting addresses of the form opennms-{listname}@lists.sourceforge.net. Please keep this in mind if you use the Gmane interface and decide that you'd like to subscribe or post to the lists directly. The Gmane administrators have been contacted about this issue, but it's the holidays and the correction may take some time.
