From OpenNMS

There have been a lot of requests for an opennms book. It's however difficult to write such a book, mainly because the innovation cycle of opennms is short. Printing a book means to wait a few weeks and while we've waited a few weeks a whole set of new features has made it's way into the software ;-)

However, based on what we already have on the wiki and the full scope of knowledgeable people around, it should be possible to create a "book" which gets people started and explains the concepts. It's a good exercise to make up our minds as well.
