For this to work today you have to edit the Makefile and distinfo in the port to point at 1.6.11 files.

I was able to get this running on 8.1-STABLE 20010/10 and java: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_03-p4-root_28_oct_2010_14_50-b00) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 1.6.0_03-p4-root_28_oct_2010_14_50-b00, mixed mode)
