Who is OpenNMS for?

For starters, anyone who wants to keep track of the status of their network or to gain a better control and understanding of the performance parameters of their network. It can be used by a large range of enterprises, from small to large businesses, to ISPs, to web hosting providers. It can be used simply as an IT internal resource for keeping track of your network. Or, it can be used to provide your customers with a view into the performance of the network they depend on for their own work/business. This may be especially useful in a hosting type business, although many type of business would benefit from the empowering feeling this gives to your customers/users.
